I’m Taj Mahaly, a licensed esthetician and glow-up coach with over a decade in the spa and skincare industry. My journey began in Denver, Colorado, on the management side of luxury spas, before I transitioned into hands-on skincare in 2018. Acne was my first love and my first battle. After struggling with severe, painful cystic acne and scarring myself, I became deeply committed to helping women heal their skin safely and effectively. I’ve since invested tens of thousands of dollars into continued education and am certified in multicultural skin, advanced skin analysis, chemical peels, and laser services — with hundreds of real skin transformations to show for it.
During the pandemic, when in-person care wasn’t accessible, I took my mission online. I built a community of over 100,000 women on YouTube, with videos reaching over a million views, teaching skincare, bikini line care, and glow-up rituals women could trust at home. That community was built on honesty, education, and results, and it reflects the same level of care I bring into the treatment room today.
Veil Spa was born from a pivot. After becoming a mother, I realized the way I was working, grinding, overgiving, and neglecting myself was no longer aligned with the life I wanted or the woman I was becoming. I knew firsthand what it felt like to lose yourself while holding everything together. Veil Spa is my fresh start, and now a springboard for women who are ready to come back to themselves, gently, intentionally, and without shame.
